Cypremort Yacht Club Fall Regatta

Vermilion Bay, LA

14 and 15 November 2009

1 RULES - The regatta will be governed by the rules as defined in The Racing Rules of Sailing and the rules and regulations of the Gulf Yachting Association Performance Handicap Racing Fleet http://www.gya-phrf.com/.

2 ELIGIBILITY AND ENTRY - The regatta is open to all boats with a valid PHRF certificate. Eligible boats may enter by completing regatta registration form and paying registration fee of $20 per boat.

3 SCHEDULE -

Saturday 14 November 2009

     0930 - 1000 Registration

     1000           Skippers' Meeting

     1100           Start 1st Race

                       No warning signal after 1530

Sunday 15 November 2009

     1000          Skipper's Meeting

     1100          Start 2nd Race

                      No warning signal after 1330

                      Trophy presentation as soon as possible after race

4 SAILING INSTRUCTIONS - The sailing instructions will be available at registration.

5 SCORING - Appendix A, Low Point System. No score will be excluded (alters RRS A2). Two

races are scheduled. Completion of one race will constitute a regatta.

6 PRIZES - Trophies will be presented to the top three finishers.

7 DISCLAIMER OF LIABILITY - Competitors participate in the regatta entirely at their own risk.

See Rule 4, Decision to Race. The organizing authority will not accept any liability for material

damage or personal injury or death sustained in conjunction with or prior to, during, or after the

regatta.

A reasonably-priced meal will be served Saturday night at CYC http://cypremort.com/main/. Also available at CYC is limited space for docking Friday night and or Saturday night. Cypremort Point has a fuel dock and convenience store but no motels.
