More than 9 daysafter the original post and after 15 viewingsof it without comment , perhaps needed are more specific thoughts about one-design sailing at CYC.  Here are several ideas. You might have some ideas of your own about one-design sailing at CYC.

1. Cosider a series of Sunfish races at CYC; the sooner the better. With such boats 5 or more races in an afternoon are feasible. 

2. Consider a series of Catalina 22 races at CYC sometime this year. Does CYC have 3 or more  members owning Catalina 22s?

3. Consider getting a San Juan 21 and beating a very well-sailed San Juan 21 which has won many CYC races. That would be a legendary, fun-filled accomplishment worthy of the effort!
