What's everyone's take on organizing an Acadiana-wide sailing day at the Point?  I'm thinking it would be targeted at all those sailboat owners who rarely move from under thier carports and open to all classes of sailboat.   It would also have the added benefit of acting as a membership drive.  

I've pulled together an outline complete with some possible limiting factors and recommendations to making it a success.  If you are interested in reading more, let me know.  I can post it as an attachment to this thread.
